Meditation for Writers: Still Your Mind and Create.

Most creative writers struggle with fears, anxieties, doubts, jealousy, and insecurities that inevitably rise to the surface during our publishing journeys. These phantom thoughts come from the Ego and can be hard to shut off. At times, the voices of limiting beliefs can swirl loudly in our minds—sapping our confidence and focus—leaving us feeling stuck, or like an imposter. It is important to understand that these voices are not real. They are just thoughts that gather momentum, triggering memories and more fearful thoughts as “evidence” of their truth.

But they are illusionary. Your truth is quiet, strong, aware, creative, powerful.

Get still, and tame the fear through meditation.
